Adobe Soundbooth CS4 requires admin account on OSX

Adobe Soundbooth CS4 looks to be a very useful audio editing application. I was testing out the trial software, and encountered a seemingly major issue—I could not play any audio files. Editing the files worked great. Pressing the play button did nothing. Apparently the software requires the user account to have administrative privileges, at least on OSX. It seems strange that editing the audio works fine on a standard account, but not audio playback. In any case, using the software on an administrative account solved the issue. Here’s a good introductory video that reviews some of the features.
