I recently read a nice little guide called “Twenty-two tips on typography…” It has a bunch of tips (44) on what to do and what not to do when working with type. The book is a comfortable hand-held size. It’s actually two books in one, with “Twenty-two things you should never do…” printed on the flip-side. The attractive design encourages reading.
Unfortunately, there are a number of errors that disrupt the flow of the book and obscure the author’s intent. It is a translation, so some problems may have been introduced during the translation process. Overlooking the issues, it is still a worthwhile read with solid information on the practice of typography.
