How do I sign up?
To sign up, please fill out the contact form on this page and let us know you’re interested in our local small business website service. We will send you a quote and begin the project once you have agreed.
How long does the process take?
The small business website design and build process takes about two to four weeks. The timeline depends on our existing commitments and your involvement. The process works best if you have everything ready to go before we start, and reserve a small amount of time for necessary feedback and approvals.
My website is live. How do I ask for changes?
You’ll have our contact information, and all you need to do is send an email with a change request. Email is the best way to communicate changes, as it allows us to track the request.
Can I call or text you with changes?
We find that email is the most effective way to request changes. That way, we can track your request and involve other team members as necessary. We’ll respond to you once the change is complete. If you have a more complex request or a larger project, we can discuss it further via a video call. If you require more dedicated support, we offer additional support levels for priority assistance.
What type of changes are possible?
Most businesses only require occasional updates, such as text or image changes. For example, your company may have introduced a new service or added a new team member. Our small business website design service is not designed for frequent redesigns or significant changes. Our goal is to establish your website and provide ongoing support. Should you require major design changes, we are happy to discuss them and provide a project estimate.
Can I provide feedback on the design?
Yes, there will be opportunities to provide feedback during the process. Due to the nature of this service, we are unable to offer multiple rounds of revisions. We aim to launch your website within four weeks. If you require a bespoke website, have unique needs, or want a high level of involvement in the process, we suggest considering our custom website services. Does this include SEO?
Our initial website build for you will include the basics, such as a well-structured page, semantic HTML, title, and meta tags for search engines, and alt attributes for images. Additional SEO is best handled on an ongoing basis. This might include a competitive analysis, keyword research, writing, and tracking results with third-party software. We can provide this as an additional service.
Does this include e-commerce?
While we build e-commerce websites, this service is not included in our small business website offering. E-commerce websites are more complicated to build and require more coordination with the business owner to set up payment gateways and individual products. There are cost-effective ways of setting up an e-commerce website. Please get in touch with us for an estimate.

We created this service specifically for local small businesses in need of a website. It’s designed to provide a five-page marketing website to support your business. This service is ideal for new businesses and those just starting out online.
How is this different from a custom website?
Our small business website service is designed for local and small businesses in need of a web presence. You may have already tried to do it yourself or hired a freelancer. We are especially interested in working with other local and regional companies. Our service is designed for small websites with five pages, such as Home, About, Services, Contact, and Blog. While we create the website specifically for you, it’s not a completely custom website. We use existing design components and patterns to deliver results more efficiently for you.
Is there a minimum subscription term?
We hope that you will value our service and choose to stay with us. However, we recognize that a website subscription model may not be the right fit for everyone. Our minimum term is 12 months. You can cancel at any time and pay the remaining balance of the 12-month term.
Can you build the website and transfer it to my hosting provider?
No, our web hosting has been carefully selected to support our small business website design services. If you have special requirements, please contact us, and we can discuss a custom website development project.
Do I keep the website if I cancel my monthly subscription?
If you cancel a monthly subscription, you will retain any original assets provided, including text content and images. We retain any stock images purchased for the project or graphics created for the website. You can opt to pay a one-time design fee (less any prior monthly payments) to have the website transferred to your account. Our service is designed to help new businesses that are just getting started. If you have additional requirements or prefer a more traditional website design and development process, please get in touch with us, and we can discuss a custom website development project.
What happens to my domain name if I cancel my account?
You get to keep your domain name. If you purchased it on your own, nothing changes, and you can point it to a website platform of your choice. If we purchased it for you, we will work with you to transfer the domain to you.
What type of payments do you accept?
We appreciate electronic payments via credit card or ACH bank transfer. We also accept payments via check for one-time projects. For monthly subscriptions, we will send you an invoice that you can set to autopay via credit card.
Is the $100 per additional page a one-time fee?
Yes, the $100 for each additional page beyond the five-page website scope is a one-time fee. If you add two extra pages to the initial project, that’s an additional $200. It is not a recurring monthly fee for each additional page.
Does it cost $100 to add a page after the website is published?
It depends on the page and your support level. The small business website design service is oriented toward minor ongoing changes. If you have signed up for additional monthly support, a new page may be covered. Please let us know what you need, and we’ll confirm whether it’s covered under our support agreement.
Do you offer refunds if the service is not right for me?
We strive to deliver a high-quality service and excellent value. If it’s not a good fit for you, we will do our best to make it right. If you are not satisfied with the service, you may cancel within 30 days of signing the contract. For one-time projects, the project deposit is non-refundable. For monthly projects, the first month’s payment is non-refundable. Beyond 30 days, the 12-month minimum subscription term or full project fee applies.
