Website and logo redesign for an established ophthalmology practice.

Litchfield Hills Eye Physicians

Litchfield Hills Eye Physicians approached us with a project to refresh the company’s logo and redesign their aging website.

Logo Redesign

The original company logo included an unusual mark that referenced an anatomical aspect of the eye.

The logo was difficult to interpret as an eye care office logo, while the typeface and palette indicated an earlier design era.

Andy Wollner redesigned the logo to a more modern format that suggests overlapping lenses or optical elements while nodding to the hills in the company name and location.

The updated color palette and lighter typography align the logo with current design trends.

Website Redesign

The original company website was a small, static HTML website that the company could not maintain. It contained outdated information and relied on technology from decades earlier.

We worked with Litchfield Hills to redesign the website, update company information, and migrate to a modern WordPress platform with a mobile-friendly design.

The new design features prominent contact information and bill pay access for the practice’s clients.

Information about common eye conditions serves as a resource for new patients.

The UserWay accessibility widget provides accessibility controls to increase type size and contrast and adjust for other visual impairments.

Doug was very easy and pleasant to work with. He rebranded and redesigned our ophthalmology website. He worked with content that I provided him with, but he worked with me brilliantly to come up with a nice finished product. Very pleased.
