Peter LaBau

Peter LaBau hired me to redesign and update his portfolio website, making it mobile-friendly and modernizing the design. As part of the redesign effort, we moved the website from ExpressionEngine to Squarespace to make maintenance easier going forward.

The earlier ExpressionEngine website was running on outdated software and became increasingly difficult to maintain.

By rebuilding the website with Squarespace, we removed the complexity and added burden of maintaining custom software.

Since there is no automatic import of ExpressionEngine content into Squarespace, we imported the site with a multi-step process. We exported the text content to WordPress and then imported it to Squarespace.

We imported the images manually and then designed and styled the new website in Squarespace.
