Connecting students with resources for flourishing
Student Flourishing at UVA
Together with the Contemplative Sciences Center at the University of Virginia, we created a new website focused on student well-being. The site aggregates resources and events across the University related to student flourishing.
The website features a colorful palette and integrates a local events calendar from SceneThink. We designed the branding in collaboration with Andy Wollner and art direction from the team at the CSC. The website was produced with WordPress.
Logo & Website Design
The site highlights six keys to student flourishing. These six keys are reflected in the logo, each with its own ray. Color palettes were explored, starting with the University’s brand colors and ultimately incorporating a bright, optimistic color scheme.
The website interface design evolved from black-and-white wireframes based on anticipated content and sections. We created website and logo design variations, starting with organic shapes and the University brand colors and evolving to more abstract lines and a bright color palette.
