Wilcox Design website relaunch
I just worked with Jean Wilcox of Wilcox Design to redesign the company’s website and update it with new portfolio pieces. We included some of the design elements from the earlier website design, and updated the site with a lighter background and improved menu system. We opted for a larger image format to showcase the firm’s excellent graphic design.
Design and code update

The layout is mostly the same, and the previous color scheme carried forward. I improved the legibility of the type, and switched from serving my own web fonts to Google web fonts. I brought news items back to the home page in order to keep updated content there. Some text content has been updated. I also added categorization in the work section.
Magnetic ExpressionEngine theme available
I just released an installable theme for ExpressionEngine called Magnetic. The theme is suitable for a blog, or as a starting point for an online magazine. The design is clean and can be easily modified via CSS and a few image adjustments. The original Photoshop file is included to make modifications easier.
